Here's what we do
DSO and Oxford United Walking Football Club with support from DSActive organise football training exclusively for people with Down’s Syndrome.
Elliot's Shed is a DSO initiative that has been made possible by the incredible fundraising of Kat and Seth Cornfield, parents of Elliot who sadly passed away in 2015, aged 2, after a long battle with cancer. Elliot's shed is a means of sharing equipment that is often expensive to buy for our children.
Singing popular and crowd pleasing songs, the DSO Singing and Signing Choir has become a hugely popular activity for DSO families as we raise awareness and show off the ability our inspiring young people.

Down’s Syndrome Oxford offers an Early Development Group for you and your child during term times, free of charge. We limit each group to four, to allow the children to observe and turn-take whilst still holding their attention. They are offered to all pre-school children after their 1st birthday, depending on availability.
Our Primary Development Groups are aimed at primary aged children, Year 1 to Year 6. The groups focus mainly on speech and language but we also work on reading skills as they help children improve their communication skills. Each group runs for eight weeks on Wednesdays in term time. The groups are no larger than four children in size.
DSO is a parent volunteer run charity organisation. We are grateful to our supporters.
